I would like to thank our College Principal for being so supportive of the Arts at Emmaus College. The music department currently owns more than 30 acoustic guitars which are used in music class from grade 5 upwards,
3 electric guitars, a bass guitar, 2 Yamaha electronic drum kits, 2 Enforcer acoustic drum kits with Paiste and Stagg cymbals, over 10 keyboards, an upright piano, an organ, a Roland electric piano, 3 alto saxophones, 2 clarinets, a flute, a trombone
and our most recent addition - a bass drum to start off the percussion section of our orchestra! We also have several percussion instruments used in music class for the lower primary school. All of these instruments promote music at the College
and are used in music class from Prep right through to year 10. I would like to thank those who have donated instruments to the College and I would like to thank our Principal for the support he has given to the music department to allow us
to purchase these wonderful instruments!
