What a busy year it has been for the year 3 choir! The year 3 choir started rehearsals in term one of this year. During music lessons, Miss Clark began to teach the choir "Edelweiss" and "Fly Away" so they could perform at the Ipswich Eisteddfod later in the year.

Towards the end of May, both classes of year 3's (3L and 3SP) arrived at school at 7:15am to board a bus which would take them to Ipswich. We traveled a great distance to Ipswich where for the first time these children took to the stage on special choir stands in a big auditorium. There were nerves all round! Whispers of "I'm so scared" and "wow this hall is so big" could be heard as the students filed into the Ipswich Civic Centre.

 These students did a fantastic job for their very first public performance! I would like to thank Mrs Robinson, Mrs Leonard, Mrs Stichell and Mrs Patterson for all their hard work and support in preparing the children!

On Wednesay September 5th, the year three choir sang at the Beenleigh eisteddfod. They were awarded FIRST PLACE for their performance of  "Bob the Builder" and "Part of Your World". Well done year three champion choir!!
